Lilliput Lane's "Wheyside Cottage" is presumed to be based on  1 Masons Lane, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire

LL information is: "On the Devon/Somerset border". Claire Scott suggests this building on the Somerset/Wiltshire border

When I visited the area in May 2024 the plants had grown to obscure most of the building


It is impossible to stop near the cottage. It is the second thatch in this streetview coming down Mason’s Lane


My suggestion is to bear right at the mini roundabout


Follow the road shown in bottom left picture (Newtown)



and then park as indicated in the picture below
